Bob Potter - Chairman
Bob Potter is chairman of the CSF Corporation advisory board and a CEO-in-Residence at Alpine Investors.
He has more than 35 years of experience building high-growth enterprise software companies. Most recently, he was general manager of the Business Intelligence/Analytics Business Unit at Rocket Software. Before Rocket, he was vice president of Business Development at QlikTech, focusing on go-to-market Big Data strategy. Bob also co-founded, funded, and sold Expressor Software Corporation, an innovative data integration software company. Earlier in his career, he worked for IONA Technologies and Object Design.
Bob earned his Bachelor of Science (BS) in business administration from Providence College and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in marketing from the University of Rhode Island.
Steven Levinn – Board Member
Before becoming a board member, Steven led CSF’s product, strategy, and general management as president of the company. He co-founded CSF in 1988 with Clem Hergenhan, who was CEO of the company until his retirement.
Steven has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Before CSF, he was a senior project manager at IEX Corporation. Prior to that, at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Steven managed major development and release planning projects for AT&T’s first release of the C compiler and release 3 of UNIX System V. He started his career at the Xerox Corporation.
Steven is an active participant in ATIS and the SNAC (SMS/800 Number Administration Committee). He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in computer science from the University of Rochester, and an MBA in computer systems and marketing from the Simon Business School at the same university.
Chris Currie – Board Member
Chris Currie, president of the Aerialink subsidiary of CSF Corporation, oversees its business operations. He is the founder and former CEO of Aerialink, Inc., a company he started in 2002, and CSF acquired in March 2017.
Chris has over 20 years of leadership experience in mobile, telecommunications, cloud and IT industries. At SupportSoft, Chris was a Senior Manager servicing large Telco and Cable communications companies such as Bell South, Comcast, Cox, Time Warner, and Verizon. Chris’ extensive enterprise experience and long-time career in Information Technology adds to his credibility to lead Aerialink from both a technology and business operations aspect.
Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Graphics with an emphasis in Computer Science and business studies from Marycrest University in Davenport, Iowa.
Nick Horn – Board Member
Nick Horn is currently part of the Alpine CEO-in-Training program.
Previously, Nick served 13 years as a U.S. Army aviation officer and Black Hawk pilot in the 101st Airborne Division and 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. He commanded two Assault Black Hawk companies; one as a Captain in the 101st and the second as a Major in the 160th.
Nick earned his master’s degree in management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business as a Sloan Fellow. He also earned a BS degree in economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he was the recipient of the Superintendent’s Award of Excellence and recognized for academic achievement on the Dean’s List.
