Steve Levinn has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.  He started his professional career at the Xerox Corporation where he was involved with the application of large time sharing environments, and played a major role in the design of management information systems for national accounts.  At AT&T Bell Laboratories Steve managed major development projects.  Included in his successes, Steve drove the effort resulting in the first AT&T release of the C Compilation System.  He also made major contributions to the UNIX product line, including release planning, development, and program management.  In the UNIX development center Steve managed the project planning effort of the UNIX System V (Release 3.0) product.  This effort included coordinating release features, determining priorities of engineers, developers and testers and negotiating delivery schedules with internal marketing organizations.

After leaving Bell Labs in the mid 80’s Steve joined IEX Corporation where he managed large projects from conception to deployment.  The projects typically involved frequent customer contact with attention to delivering high quality systems in relatively short periods of time.  Steve’s key to success with these projects involved developing and enforcing a standard methodology and process, which successfully applied has helped drive widespread success throughout his career.
